Won three gold medals at the 2016 South Asian Games, winning the women's doubles event, mixed doubles event & women's team event
Won three medals at the 2015 Commonwealth Table tennis championships,winning silver in the women's team event & women's doubles event along with a bronze in the women's singles event.
Represented India at the 2014 Commonwealth Games at Glasgow & the 2014 Asian Games, where she finished as a quarterfinalist
In 2011, she won the silver medal in the under-21 category of the Chile Open.

Ranked 32nd in female’s & 5th in youth girls ranking in India. Selena is a prodigious talent from Chennai, who in her first ever appearance at the ITTF Junior Circuit, won the Junior Girls’ Singles title at the Aspire 2016 Qatar Junior and Cadet Open in Doha. She also won the Junior Girls’ Team event & Junior Girl’s doubles titles in partnership with Poland’s Julia Slazak at the same open, completing a memorable hat-trick. 2016 was a breakthrough year for Selena, securing a runners-up position in the Junior Girls Doubles event & reaching the semis in Junior Girls Singles event at the 2016 Bahrain Junior & CadetOpen in Manama, amongst a series of impressive results during the year. The future is beaming for this 17 year old with her consistent performances & steady rise up the rankings, an indication of her massive talent.
